Out On The Front Porch

Well, it has been a week since my last post.. I’ve been pretty busy between work, school, and hanging out with friends. And speaking of school, at 8:00pm on Wednesday June 24th I will be completely done with first year. Thank fuck.
Yuki has been staying at my house for the last couple nights (Well, since last Wednesday) and that’s another reason I have not been on here. We have better things to do than facebook & blog when we are together (It’s crazy, I know). Yuki was actually supposed to come over on Tuesday night because we had plans with Shannon & Andrew, but he messed up what day it was and we ended up having to reschedule for Saturday night. I picked Shannon & Andrew up at their house and we went to the Wooden Monkey for supper because they offer lots of gluten free options, which means that Shannon will not die. After deciding that we would go to a late movie, I decided to have a drink since I wouldn’t be driving for a couple hours. But after I had that one drink in me I wanted more.. And drinks at a restaurant are really expensive so we all decided to go and try to find another cheaper place to drink. We ended up deciding on the liquor store & a bottle of pop, which we snuck into the movie with us. We saw Up, it was funny and very sad. I cried through most of it. It was such a high school night though. And to top it off we listened to Sum 41 & Blink 182 on the ride home (Yuki stopped drinking early so he could drive us, what a sweet guy).
I really enjoy hanging out with Shannon & Andrew. They are so fun. Which is why Im pumped for two weekends from now because we have plans for a bbq, dressing up, and lots of drinking (:

Oh yeah, and on Thursday (I think) me and Sara went shopping down on Spring Garden after work. I bought a new purse at City Streets. Anyways, the deal was you buy one thing, you get the second thing of lesser value at 30% off. So my purse was on sale for 34$ and I also wanted a tank that was 8$. The lady rang me in and told me the total: 35$. I was like wtf, but I didn’t say anything obviously.. Afterwords, me and Yuki looked at the receipt and noticed that she gave me 30% off the purse, not the tank. I was pumped to say the least.
Im also pumped that I have my credit card paid off completely. Not so pumped that they are cutting hours at work. So, therefore Im going to hand out some resumes. Im not expecting to get offered a job until September, when all the stores will be looking to replace people going back to school. But, it’s worth a try.
It needs to stop raining, k?
